Sources out of Austin, TX, report that Boise State offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin is set to accept the vacant offensive coordinator position for the Longhorns.
Harsin was in Austin yesterday for a second time to meet with athletic department officials.
The Texas offensive coordinator position news has been a roller coaster, with Boise State’s Harsin and Wisconsin’s Paul Chryst being named by sources as “the guy,” only to have those same sources retract their statements.
With Paul Chryst interviewing for the Pittsburgh head coaching job, Mack Brown wanted to quickly finalize his staff and went back after Harsin. It appears Mack has his man.
