As per reports from Michael Irvin of NFL.com, Vince Young will either be placed on injury reserve or cut by the Tennessee Titans within the next 24 hours.

This is not surprising news after yesterday’s circus antics by both Vince Young and Jeff Fisher. Both were right, and both were terribly wrong in how they handled themselves.

If Young is cut from the Titans, I don’t expect him to remain a free agent for long unless the torn flexor tendon in his right thumb is going to require surgery. Teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, and Carolina Panthers (just to name a few) could use Young’s services this season.

UPDATE: Owner Bud Adams tells The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt, “I haven’t given up on Vince, and I am sure Fisher hasn’t either.” He further goes on to say that the Titans aren’t getting rid of Vince, and that Fisher and his quarterback will have to get along.

Now the question is, does Jeff Fisher walk?
