The gang re-ignites the rivalry and it is in fact always sunny in Philadelphia. “Vick, Vick, Vickadelphia”, if you don’t get the reference crawl out from under your rock and start watching FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. While the gang re-ignites the flip cup rivalry, Mike Vick is showing everyone in the NFL he is back and ready to start for the Eagles. He is also at the same time becoming a fantasy football God! I’m one of the many who should thank him for his dominating week in the Fantasy Football world. What a fun time it was watching such perfect football being played by the Eagles. Besides the KR, geez what happened there? The best thing this guy did all game was not catch the ball.
That’s right everyone we are in America and I’d like to introduce you to the poster child of forgiveness, Mike Vick. Mr. Vick has gone from one of the top QB’s in the NFL to a convicted felon and serving time in jail and then back to being on top of the NFL. This guy took his punishment like a man, shut his mouth, didn’t bitch and moan the whole time like you or I would have been doing. Nope, instead he said hey let me get ripped and think about what I have done and just make the best NFL comeback of my time. This guy is good in my book unless he screws up again then its just a vicious circle of wasted talent.
I would also like to remind everyone that Donte Stallworth served 30 days for driving drunk and killing a man. Vick fought dogs and served more time than that. I am no animal hater or condone raising dogs to fight and kill but come on guys REALLY? On one hand we have a guy who got behind the wheel after drinking alcohol and killed another human being and on the other we have a guy who was fighting and killing dogs, in my opinion Vick did the lesser crime but had a more severe punishment. Don’t get me wrong I understand accidents happen, and that an illegal dog fighting ring and a freak accident are two different things. But if you had to choose Blowing a 0.12 (when 0.08 is over the legal limit) after killing a guy with your car v.s being the “brains” behind a dog fighting racket… I’d have to go with the dog fighting I don’t make NFL money to bail myself out of the DUI Manslaughter charges.
It’s crazy to me that some people can literally get away with murder, and others just don’t have that luck. I really do have sympathy for Stallworth, what a horrible accident. So many what ifs with this one, but if the Stallworth shoe was on my foot I believe with all my heart I would have been locked up for 10+ years. I have no priors involving alcohol but I am certain I would have done alot more time than Donte did. Let me ask you this, if Stallworth hit a vicious dog that morning on the highway instead of a human would he have even been fined? No. Probably not even caught for the DUI, never mind 30 days in jail. Maybe its a bad comparison but I think you catch my drift.
I would like to end this by saying that #7 Michael Vick will be the number 1 drafted QB next season for Fantasy Football. The way he runs is unlike any QB in the league at the moment. His pocket presence is so far better the Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. I’m telling you this guy is amazing. He’s got impressive moves with even more impressive numbers. I think that next season, if he plays the full season with the Eagles he will have the best numbers of his professional career.

DeSean Jackson was right, The Eagles that game were like a bunch of vicious Pitbulls let out of their cages. They went on that field ready to win the football game and they did. Under Michael Vick’s leadership I see this Philly team going pretty far. Oh yeah, I can’t forget to tip my hat to Andy Reid who helped bring Vick to Philedelphia. If the Pats aren’t in the Super Bowl then you know who I’m rooting for, “Vick, Vick, Vickadelphia”.
