Now that the bye weeks are done with, the fans can watch and pay attention to more games. Week 11 brings some fabulous entertainment, starting tomorrow night as the Chicago Bears visit the Miami Dolphins. The Green Bay Packers travel to Minnesota to take on Brett Favre and the Vikings. The Houston Texans take their high-flying offense to the New York Jets. The surging Oakland Raiders have a date in Pittsburgh. Peyton Manning will take his Colts to New England, which will feature two MVP candidates. The Sunday night game should be fantastic as the New York Giants hit the road to Philadelphia, and the winner will take over the division lead.

Thursday, November 18th

Chicago (6-3) @ Miami (5-4)

Chicago doesn’t win pretty, but they seem to get the job done and find themselves on top of their division. They play well on the road, and Miami just finally won their first home game last week. They score around the same amount of points, but the Bears’ defense is better than the Dolphins’.

Prediction: Chicago 23, Miami 20

Sunday, November 21st

Buffalo (1-8) @ Cincinnati (2-7)

We knew the Bills would struggle this year, but we expected the Bengals to actually contend for a division title. These Bengals might be the best 2-7 team in the history of the NFL. The Bengals have the better offense and defense, but the Bills have the better special teams. With the Bengals at home, they should win.

Prediction: Cincinnati 24, Buffalo 13

Detroit (2-7) @ Dallas (2-7)

It fascinates me how these two teams share the same records. The Cowboys stunned us all with a good win over the Giants last week, and the Lions returned to mediocrity with a loss to the lowly Bills. Dallas has some confidence now, and this game could get out of hand quickly.

Prediction: Dallas 30, Detroit 17

Washington (4-5) @ Tennessee (5-4)

The Redskins are in serious trouble. They have a bad offense and the league’s worst defense. How can they expect to win in Tennessee and stop Chris Johnson?

Prediction: Tennessee 27, Washington 17

Arizona (3-6) @ Kansas City (5-4)

Arizona is in the bottom three for total offense and total defense. The Chiefs will just run all over Arizona.

Prediction: Kansas City 26, Arizona 13

Green Bay (6-3) @ Minnesota (3-6)

These teams are heading in two different directions. Aaron Rodgers will go into Minnesota in an effort to end Minnesota’s season.

Prediction: Green Bay 24, Minnesota 17

Houston (4-5) @ New York Jets (7-2)

Houston has a great offense to go with a horrible defense. The Jets have a good offense and a very good defense. The last time the Jets were home, they were shut out by the Packers. I think they want to give their fans a special treat.

Prediction: New York Jets 30, Houston 16

Oakland (5-4) @ Pittsburgh (6-3)

Oakland was on a bye week while the Steelers were smashed by the Patriots. The Steelers can stop the Raiders’ running game, and I can’t see Pittsburgh losing two straight home games.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 23, Oakland 13

Baltimore (6-3) @ Carolina (1-8)

Carolina doesn’t have much of a chance in this game. The Ravens will mix up the run and pass, and I expect Ray Rice to have a field day.

Prediction: Baltimore 27, Carolina 10

Cleveland (3-6) @ Jacksonville (5-4)

The Browns lost a heartbreaker to the Jets, and the Jaguars won on a freak play over the Texans last week. Peyton Hillis will be the reason the Browns win or lose.

Prediction: Cleveland 23, Jacksonville 21

Tampa Bay (6-3) @ San Francisco (3-6)

Tampa might be the worst 6-3 team I have seen in a long time. The 49ers have won two in a row and seem to have momentum. I think the young Bucs will have a tough time winning this one on the road.

Prediction: San Francisco 20, Tampa Bay 16

Seattle (5-4) @ New Orleans (6-3)

The Saints won two in a row before heading into their bye week, while the Seahawks crushed the Cardinals. Look for Drew Brees to have a field day out there against that bad Seattle defense.

Prediction: New Orleans 34, Seattle 13

Atlanta (7-2) @ St Louis (4-5)

Atlanta is simply the better team and should win with ease here, even though the Rams are 4-1 at home. Matt Ryan is turning into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and will keep that Rams defense guessing all day.

Prediction: Atlanta 27, St Louis 18

Indianapolis (6-3) @ New England (7-2)

Tom Brady goes for his 25th straight regular season home win to tie Brett Favre’s record. Both of these teams have similar strengths and weaknesses. They can both move the football, but they both have problems stopping the other team. Tom Brady looked like a new man last week in Pittsburgh, and that’s reason enough for me to pick the Patriots.

Prediction: New England 30, Indianapolis 27

New York Giants (6-3) @ Philadelphia (6-3)

This game will be a treat for you NFC fans. Two high-flying offenses and two good defenses. Look for a shootout, with the Eagles scoring on their last possession.

Prediction: Philadelphia 34, New York Giants 27

Monday, November 22nd

Denver (3-6) @ San Diego (4-5)

Denver’s defense, or lack thereof, will be a problem for them. The Chargers play very well on both sides of the ball and have improved on their turnovers. They’re tough at home, and this game will likely end the Broncos’ season. This will be the week where the Chiefs and Raiders think “uh oh.”
