At the end of the college football season, everyone and their brother releases their All-American team for the year. And pretty much every year, all the teams have basically the same names. This year, Cam Newton will be everyone’s first team All-American quarterback. LaMichael James will be one of the running backs on the first team. Da’Quan Bowers is a given to be an All-American defensive end.
It’s time to do something a little different. It’s time to compile a “best of” list with some different names- a lot of different names. There are a lot of outstanding football players that deserve national recognition, and here it will be done by jersey number. The following list is based on the number they wear on their chest and back. Which player in the country wears number #10? Roy Helu Jr, perhaps? Perhaps. Perhaps not.
