Chip Brown of Orangebloods.com reports that rookie Colt McCoy has been told he’ll start in Week 6 against the Steelers.
If McCoy does indeed get the start, he will begin his professional career as a starting quarterback after four years at the University of Texas, where he set multiple school and national records.
McCoy had an up-and-down preseason, with Browns head coach Eric Mangini visibly showing disgust with some of McCoy’s play.
