The New Jersey Nets and owner Mikhail Prokhorov have finally got the superstar talent they wanted trading for all-star point guard Deron Williams.

The agreed deal has Devin Harris, rookie Derrick Favors and two first round draft picks going to the Utah Jazz for Williams.

In a seperate trade, The Nets also send Troy Murphy to the Golden State Warriors for Dan Gadzuric and Brandan Wright.

Prokhorov has tried to make a splash since buying the team, but failed to land a big name free agent this summer and recently lost out on the Carmelo Anthony sweepstake to the rival New York Knicks.

The Nets now have one of the prized free agents of the 2012 class.  Prokhorov will look to resign Williams and build around him and Brook Lopez.

OTHER NBA TRADES AND RUMORS:

Late last night the New Orleans Hornets and Sacramento Kings agreed on a deal.  Forward Carl Landry will move to New Orleans for second year guard Marcus Thornton and cash consideration.

Mike Miller of the Miami Heat may be on the block as the Heat look to upgrade either the point guard or center position.  Miller hasn’t really fit in with the Heat this season since returning from a thumb injury.
