After Saturday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh put his vagina where his mouth is when criticizing Bulls backup center Omer Asik for his hustle that lead to Bosh’s ankle injury.

“C’mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen,” Bosh said. “You’ve got to watch people’s legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job.

“We all want to be healthy and that is very important,” Bosh said. “If it is by somebody’s leg, don’t dive for the ball, it’s too close.”

The injury happened during the third quarter of a close game.  And Bosh’s comments only reiterate that he is a soft player, doesn’t play hard at all times, and a weak low post presence.

Bosh mentions that we play because it’s our job and so we can provide for our families.  And Bosh’s family will be fine after signing a six-year, $100 million contract.  While the rookie Asik is making only $1.7 million this season.  So, Bosh is right in a way.  Everyone is playing to support their families, but if the unproven Asik doesn’t hustle for every loose ball he may be out of a job and Bosh already doesn’t have to worry about working another day in his life.  PUSSY!

The NBA is full of these types of players now.  The game has lost its physical nature and has become all finesse instead of a beautiful combination of both like we saw in the 80’s and 90’s.  I understand the league wants to protect their investments, but we will never see the epic matchups like we saw with Jordan’s Bulls against Isiah’s Pistons, or Reggie’s Pacers versus Ewing’s Knicks.

There will never be a spot on the team for the “enforcer”, like Bill Laimbeer or Charles Oakley again.  Imagine if Dwight Howard was able to use his enormous frame to bully people out of the lane?  Instead, Howard leads the league in technical fouls, being punished for putting a body on Bosh-type players.
