#24 Kansas State @ #17 Missouri
The Wildcats are fresh off their dominating victory over the slumping Texas Longhorns. Meanwhile, the Missouri Tigers are licking their wounds after back-to-back losses at the hands of Nebraska and Texas Tech.
Expect Missouri to play with a lot of emotion as they try to avoid a 3-loss skid, but I expect the Wildcats to win this one 24-17.
Iowa St. @ Colorado
The Colorado Buffaloes finally fired embattled head coach Dan Hawks this past week. I’m not sure if Colorado had to mortgage their entire campus to do so, but I don’t expect the Buffs to play much better versus the hot Cyclones.
Iowa State wins this easily 35-10.
Texas Tech @ #16 Oklahoma
Red Raider fans are hopeful after the victory last week against Missouri. But not so fast, my friends! Oklahoma is nearly unbeatable at Gaylord Family Stadium, so don’t expect Tech to upset the Sooners.
Oklahoma wins 45-7.
Kansas @ #8 Nebraska
I won’t even bother giving an analysis for this game. Nebraska will humiliate Kansas to the tune of 45-10.
#25 Texas A&M @ Baylor (UPSET SPECIAL)
I’m not sure you can call this an upset, but it’s as close as I’ll get this week with these matchups. Texas A&M upset Oklahoma last week and has appeared to turn the corner under Mike Sherman. Unfortunately, I think it’s just Baylor’s time to turn some heads in the state of Texas, and I see Robert Griffin III playing with a lot of heart/emotion.
Baylor wins 28-21.
#10 Oklahoma St. @ Texas
Mack Brown has stated that he has no intention of benching Garrett Gilbert despite the quarterback’s absolutely terrible play this season. Call me crazy, but I believe Mack after he kept Gilbert in the game last week even with 5 interceptions.
Oklahoma State will not show mercy to the team that has broken their hearts over and over throughout the years. In fact, Oklahoma State has not beaten Texas PERIOD since John Mackovic’s last year (1997), and has not beaten the Horns in Austin since 1944. Both of those records will come to an end as Oklahoma State ROLLS over the beleaguered Horns 44-21.
